Catching Up

It's been a busy Fall and I got out of the habit of posting. Here's a summary.

Flying Circus had so-so results in the Downeast Regatta.

Fortunately, we had a star in the family during the Fall season . . . Peach's team was undefeated (1 tie) and she was terrfific!

Champions!

We took Flying Circus on the road for the first time since we've had it to the Changing of the Colors Regatta at Lake George, NY. We were 21st in the 58 boat fleet and we were pleased with that result. Plus we had a great time and plan to do it again next year.

AJ has returned to karate class and both kids have started swimming in the Seacoast Swim Club. They will go to their first competition sometime in January.

I sailed in the frostbite series for the second year this Fall. Much better results this time around. We were third out of 10 teams. Last year we were near the bottom, but we obviously learned something. I created a blog to post photos and link to results. Here's the link.

I been to two Patriots games -- the disappointing loss to the Colts and the sloppy win over the Bears. I think they'll make the playoffs -- they need only 1 win or 1 Jets loss to clinch the division -- but I don't think they'll make it to the Conference finals. My money is on the Chargers to win the Super Bowl. Any takers?

We started a family fantasy football league this Fall. Me, the kids, Granky and Joan. We haven't put much time into it and it shows. My team -- Dead Parrots -- is Dead last. Joan, however, must have been a football coach in a past life becuase she's blowing everyone else away. Of course, it doesn't hurt to have Ladanian Tomlinson on your team.

Christmas in two days. We'll try to get a post and some pictures up on that before May!
